Very cool and pleasant today. There is not firing in front at all. Everything is very quiet. Sent a load of ____ stone(?) to the front for issue to the troops. ______ of pickles, dried apples, onions, and lemon. Sent to city point and got a days issue of soft bread also some string beans and green cabbage.
