28th Saturday
Got up at half past three. Got my wagons loaded about seven oclock. Went back to park and stayed there until 10 oclock. Went out on the Newtown road. The road is very sandy and ____ some bad ____ in it. Some of our teams are so ____ out that they can not go mush farther. We have a cavalry ____ with us. Parked about ten oclock in an open field. I think that we have come nearly twenty miles today. We are parked at a _____ ____ about seven miles from Newtown. Quite warm today.
