11th Wednesday
The teams was hooked up at seven this morning. There was about eight hundred rebel prisoners passed us today. About noon was ordered to go to the front with two days rations. When we got there our division had just moved outside of the earthworks. They was to make a charge at five oclock but for some reason they did not. They came back to their position inside(?) of the earthworks. Got through issuing about six oclock. Started back. Got in my park at eleven oclock. It has been very warm up till three oclock where it clouded over and we had some very nice(?) showers. Got wet though. Heavy cannonading about the same time we got in park. Four wagons started to ____ _____.
