Dec
1st Thursday
About two oclock this
Morning we received
orders to be ready to move
at half past seven. Our
transportation is to the left
behind and nothing but
personal baggage taken
we take the carr
at Stevenson depot.
Some say that we are
going up the Cumberland
valley. Others say City
Point and others still say
Savannah. Our brigade
is the last one to leave the
depot. We left about seven
PM. Only our division
goes today. Suppose the
2nd and third Divisions will
leave, in a day or two.
