Started about eight oclock
at middletown we left the
pike and took a by road
for Front Royal
passed through a very rough
part of the country
arrived at the corps
about noon. they are not
at Front Royal but about
two miles from it.
Issued four days Rations
(one days park) and got
through at dark
orders to move tomorrow
at six AM do not
know the destination
the whole corps troops wagon
trains and artillery are to move
