clear and very pleasant Sent to the ferry today after suppleis (sic). Eight days rations was ordered to move out to Bolivar Heights afterwards the whole train was ordered out I did not leave park until dark. the train left about 11 oclock I got on the hieghts (sic) at eight oclock in the evening and at 11 the whole train moved on It is said that we are going to winchester Genl. Russell's body was
brought in today. It is said that we have won the greatest victory of the war
