20th Saturday
cloudy and light rain all day. Staid up in. the field where we watered last night. until daylight this moning (sic) when we pulled out and went back on the road passed through charlestown and found the brigade about 6.ne mile beyond the town Issued and the wagons ----ed back. I went to the hospital and Div Hdgrs to get some paper. Bought a horse for twenty dollars A hospital Steward and myself came down together arrived in camp about two oclock.
