9th Tuesday
Clear and very warm Issued one days Rations sent twice after stores today. Once to Sandy Hook and once to Harpers Ferry. Rumor of a move tomorrow. No wagons except Headquarters. Ammunition, medical wagons ar(e) allowed with the troops. After dark I had to go to the butchers and get some cattle for them from the corps head (quarters). received a paper from Mr. J.B. Woodruff Later 10 P.M. order just received to move at daylight in the morning.
