5th, Saturday.
Cloudy with little or no rain today. Issued two days rations. Supply train
went tocto the station. Very dull. No news of any kind. Wrote a letter to father.
6th, Sunday.
Clear and very pleasant today. No business today. In the afternoon went to
the Hazel River and to the company.Adam's express arrived today .with boxes for the
soldiers. Was presented with a pipe and case worth five dollars ;by John
H. Silveria.
