March 3rd, Thursday.
Clear and pleasant today. Issued three days rations. I feel rather sore and
stiff today. Supply train went to the station. Received a package from Uncle Sam.
Capt. Aaronson's express arrived today.
4th, Friday.
Clear and pleasant today. Issued two days soft bread and three days potatoes.
Quite dull and lonely. Wrote a letter to Sister Maggie. Was measured for a new vest.
