3rd, Wensday.
Clear and pleasant, rather cold. Issued soft bread and vegeatbles.
Received a letter from Aunt Mary and answered it. Nothing new or exciting.
4th, Thursday.
Clear but cold today. Issued two days rations. Very dull and lonesome.
It is just one year ago today that I was detailed in the Commissary
Dept.
