Feb. 1st, Monday.
Clear but not very pleasant. Issued three days rations. The carpenters
are putting partitions in the barn and building a cordoroy road in front
of it. Supply train went to the station but did not get any soft bread.
2nd, Tuesday.
Clear and pleasant during the day but jast at night there up a
heavy thunder shower. Received a box by express from Butler No 3, Rockslip
New york. Helped the officer all day. The carpenters put a floor in the
barn today.
