4th, Monday. In the morning it commenced to snow. Continued all day. Issued two days rations. About two oclock orders came to be ready to move at a moments notice. Expected to move about dark but did not get off. Think that we will move in the morning. The troops are ordered to carry fice days rations in knapsack and three in haversack. Supply train went to the station twice today. Frank Douglass and John Armstrong reenlisted today. Expect I will have to issue five days rations sometime tonight or very early in the morning. It is supposed that we are going to Warrenton. At one time today we commenced to load the wagons.
