Jan. 5th, Tuesday. Clear and very pleasant. The snow is melting quite fast. No move today.Orders may come at any moment. Issued all the extra stores that we could not carry. At night made molasses candy.
6th, Wensday. Clear and pleasant today. Issued two days rations. Very dull around camp. There are some express boxes came today by Adams Express.
