23rd Wensday. Clear but quite cold today. Issued two days rations. Supply train went to the station. Todat the boy.su are all preparing for Christmas. Each and every one is bound to have a good time. This morning there was a light fall of snow.

24th Thursday. Clear and pleasant today. Issued two days rations. Supply train went to the station and got soft bread, onions, potatoes, flour and other stuff. There was a great lot of whiskey sold today. The teamsters had a big ration issued to them. Saw Karnsen Cole from  At night made molasses candy. Went to headquarters with Cole.
