25th, Friday. Clear and very pleasant today. Issued half rations of whiskey. No other business done today. For breakfast had fresh fish and for dinner had roast turkey and chicken. In the afternoon went to the regiment and had a good time.
26th Saturday. Clear and pleasant today. Issued two days rations. Cleaned up around the Commissary for inspection tomorrow. Received a letter from mother with a carte de viste of Mag. Captain Fith came back at night. Brought me a letter from Mag.
