19th, Saturday. Clear but very cold. It has the appearance of a snow storm. There was only fifty eight that reenlisted in our brigade . yesterday.eommunication is now open. Supply train went to the station. There is a good many going home on furlough now. 20th Sunday. Clear but very cold today. ----- of our Dept. went home on furlough this morning. Capt. Aaronsone arrived today with express goods. I received a letter from Uncle Sam and a package of stockings and mittens from home. Wrote a letter to mother. Went over to the regiment. At night went over to Captain Macinter's train.
