4th Friday. Clear and pleasant. Today received two letters from horne. Officer sales very brisk. Made an issue of soft bread. Supply train went to the station. Have not had any candles since we left here. Can not get any at the station.
5th Saturday. Clear but quite cold today. Supply train went to the station. Brough some bread for sale. Issued three days pork and two day dried apples, vinegar and rc .Had orders to be ready to move at a moments notice. Loaded the wagons. Was all ready.
