Nov. 29th, Sunday. After getting to the brigade we connnenced to issue. Got through first an day was breaking. As soon as we got through we started back. We could see plenty of rebel fires. Stopped when we got about two miles from the brigade and fed the teams. There is plenty of troops marching in all directions. Got back to the park about three oclock in the afternoon. Expect an attack on our train by the guerillas tonight. We are prepared to meet them all of the guard are armed and there is a picket line formed just outside of the train. It is getting very cold. It war cloudy this morning but cleared off very nice toward noon.
