16th Monday. Clear and pleasant today but quite muddy. Not much to do today. The officer saler are not very heavy. It is said that the railroad is now done to the river and a commissary depot will be opened at Brandy Station tomorrow which is about three miles from here. 17th Tuesday. Had the appearance of a storm in the morning but cleared off very nice in the afternoon. A supply train went to the junction today. The depot was not established at Brandy Station today.
