lOth Tuesday. Got ready and stayed about eight oclock. Crossed the river on a pontoon bridge just above the railroad bridge. Went out within a mile of Brandy Station and then turned to the right parked by where our brigade laid yesterday. Passed through a rebel camp fire ground they had fixed up as winter quarters. They left a great a lot of clothing lying around the camps. parked on John Minor Botts place. Our brigade lay about a mile from here. rr-is thought that we will stay here some time until the railroad gets fixed. A supply train went to the junction and back today. Got back about eight o clock at night. Corps and division headquarters are about one hundred yards away.
