4th Wednesday
Got up at two oclock in the morning had breakfast and got started about five. ____ corps ___ 2nd ____ the railroad about two miles(?)above _____ station. Passed(?) over the same road that we did last Novemeber. I drive 6 miles nearly all day. It is very warm and dusty(?). Stepped out ____ to get supper. The mule was not fed, only watered. They have not been fed since morning. We have orders to go(?) and cross the river tonight. It is said that our ____ are at ____ tavern(?).
