Clear and very pleasant today. Issued beans rice and d. apples [meaning dried apples]. Send twenty wagons after supplies(?). we have 16 days ration on hand. Ruled out some ___ ___ and morning reports went to Brigade headquarters.
22nd Friday
Clear and pleasant today. Issued three days ration. Very dull. Received a letter from Uncle Sam with ____ ____. Miller was presented with a splendid gold masonic(?) badge pin by the ____ department.
