April 23rd Saturday
Clear and pleasant today. Issued on days bread and two days potatoes. Supply train went to the station, order came what looks like moving (?) - wrote to Samuel Sidman. Went to headquarters.
24th Sunday
Clear and pleasant today. Orders to issue three days light ration. ___ ___ carry. Six days went around to the regiment and notified the commissary sergeants. Was busy nearly all day issuing. We are getting everything ready to move. Supply train went out today.
