Oct. 29th Thursday Clear and Pleasant today went t·o the brigade and issued two days rations of H bread coffee sugar and salt. The railroad was not opened today. There is a supply train to go to gainesville station tomorrow. They are to start at six A.M. wrote a letter to mother. It is very dull around the park.
30th Friday Clear and Pleasant today was busy all day putting up the large commissary fly. have it fixed up very good now better than it ever have been before the supply train went out to gainesville. got back about 9 at night. brought six hundred loaves bread and two casks ham.
