28th Wensday Clear and pleasant today not much to do. time passes slowly. the train came in today loaded with clothing. It is said that the railroad will be open here tomorrow. I hope that it will for we lay along side of the track and not a quarter of a mile from where the Commissary depot used to be game is very abundant around here. Quails meadow larks and rabbits of men caught about thirty rabbits this morning. They were only armed with clubs but they would surround a spot and then close in knock the rabbits over.
