24th Saturday Cloudy and wet very dis- agreeable. about noon the supply train started out again and at four oclock orders came to be ready to move at a moments notice and to issue three days rations. As our wagons were all out we could not get ready the bugle at headquarters had just blown for to pack up when the order was counter- manded. as soon as their order was received. the men set up a great shouting. It is said that the troops mov e at daylight in the morning. An orderly was dispatched to bring our train back. It will probably get here about midnight. we are to commence loading as soon as it comes. had whiskey for sale to officers today
