Oct 23d Friday Cloudy and a very little rain today. was very busy all day putting up the five large commissary flies they are put up well. They would do for winter quarters the Supply train got in about noon. They brought seven days rations. Received a letter from Aunt Mary. Issued three days rations officer sales was very brisk today. The hard bread that we are getting now is very bad It is full of white worms varying from a sixteenth to a half inch in length there is a great deal of fault found in them
