22nd Thursday
Clear and very pleasant
supply train started back
about seven A.M.
After dinner we moved
the park on our old ground
are putting all of our
tents and expect to stay here
sometime. Gen. Torbert is
the military governor of the place
and Col Brown is Provost
Marshall. Just as it was before
the supply train was
escorted by two companies of
infantry. had a colt revolver
given to me today.
Capt. Wheelan and Bradford
each had large mails for their
Departments when they was
taken. The citizen say that
they was in good spirits. They had
some of their money taken from
them and their boots were stolen
