Oct 25th Sunday Clear and Pleasant today the weather is getting some colder. last night it was very cold. Issued one days pork and three days Beans. Our train got back last night about twelve oclock They had just got loaded when they received the order to come back. As they did not have any orders to come back empty they did not unload so we have about six days rations more than we are allowed transportation for about four P.M. the brigade got orders to move. they are to take a position on a of heights about a mile and a half from here. South of the town and across the railroad. The third Regt. is left in town for Provost duty.
