untill twelve. we started back and had not gone but half a mile when we was stopped and told that the guerillas had captured part of the 2nd Division train about two miles a head of us. went back to Division headquarters and reported to the general. he ordered us to go into park wrhere we was and stay till morning. we saw some of the teamsters who came running back pell mell. some with out their they said that there was about seventy five of the guerillas. they took the mule and harness and left the wagons standing in the road. we parked near the am- bulance train.
