June 16 Friday
Cloudy but very little rain[.] put on citizen clothes and went to the city with Capt. Fitts, Lt. Bradford and Beecher who are all going home on leave. Harry Simpson was here today. Reported to major davis today. he told me to stay with Fitts untill the regiment started for home[.] Drew stores today
June 17 Saturday
Clear and very hot no news. Forty one men of the 95th Regt Penn Vols. was mustered out today. We had corned beef and cabbage for dinner Mac dougal took dinner with me.
