June 14 Wednesday
Cloudy and very little rain Bradfords commission came today. Have been ordered to my regiment for duty but got permission to remain untill the Regt goes home
June 15 Thursday
Cloudy but pleasant No news of any kind[.] Bradford was mustered as first Lieut of Co. K 4th Regt today. Have nothing to do now but instruct my successor a young man named Brighton of the 82nd Penn Vols. Issued two days rations
