June 12 Monday
Clear and pleasant Received stores and issued three days Rations. Capt. Fitts turned the stores over to Lt. Beecher who will man this depot hereafter. Capt. Fitts talks of going home soon on leave of absence
June 13 Tuesday
Put on citizen clothes and went to Washington with Johnson and Bradford Had a pleasant time and returned at dusk. Cloudy but very ___ and sultry. Shower in the evening Bradford expects a commission in the fourth Regt Father was here today
