June 10 Saturday
Clear and pleasant very dull no news
June 11 Sunday
Clear and pleasant Mart and I went to the cavalry command. Saw all my friends in the 3rd NJ Cav and 2nd N York Cav. also saw Alex Simpson. Traded horses with Father I am going to take his horse home. Lieut Woodruff was with us. Returned about five p.m. Capt. Fitts Bradford and Beecher was there.
