March 28 Tuesday
Clear and very pleasant went to City Point on the 10,10 train and returned on the 3 o'clock Had dinner at the __ House the twenty-fourth Army Corps passed up to the left today all of our wagons are loaded and orders to move in the morning Father was here today but I did not see him as I was away. Saw Billy Gray saw two Major Generals at City Point. Genl Shennan was there last night but left this morning Father left me ________ __
