March 27th Sunday
Clear and very pleasant. In the afternoon went to headquarters and to the regiment. Had supper with Woodruff(?) Simpson and _____. Wrote a letter to _____ _____.
28th Monday
Clear and pleasant today. Issued three days rations. Supply trains went to the station but did not get any soft bread. The 2nd Regt boys and a ____ ____ had a game of baseball today. The 2nd Regt boys was the winner. At night went to the ____.
