25th Friday
Cloudy all day and just at night it commenced to rain quite hard. Issued three days rations. Supply train went to the station orders for all detailed men to go their companies, and veteran volunteers & take their places. I wrote to Mag and sent five Carte De Visils in the letter.
26th Saturday
Cloudy with rain in the evening. Issued two days soft bread and potatoes. Wrote to Mary Rela(?)
