27th Thursday Cool and pleasant all day Issued one days rations. Issued cabbage pickled Captain Harouson arrived today with express boxes. the concert was well attended last night and is repeated tonight Henry Stockton of Co. F third was arrested today for forging orders on the Com. Dept for sugars
28th Friday Clear and cool today all of the wagons was order- ed out on inspection by quarter master General Meigs. Issued one days rations. the team went out at twelve m and did not get back until near dark. have a bad cold in my head at night felt very bad
