11th Tuesday This has been the hotest day that we have had yet. It is awful! Issued one days rations, had apple dumplings for dinner. There is no news of any account, gave Capt one dlooar to but ginger with Wenesday 12th Very pleasant today cool breeze all day. Issued one days rations Wrote to J.B. Woodruff and Mr. John Robison. at night went over to the company and drew a pair of shoes
