3rd Wensday [sic]
Clear and warm today. Supply train went to the Station today after flour potatoes and hams. Today two of the bakers was arrested for milking Monteeth’s cow. They was discharged after an exammation [sic].
4th Tuesday
About two o’clock in the morning an order came to be under arms at day light. Reville [sic] was sounded and the Brass bands commenced to play. At three I had to get up and Issue three days hard bread. The brigade[?] had eight days of sugar and coffee Issued one days potatoes Officers sales quite brisk in the morning. I suppose that the [sic] expected to move but we did not
