be the worst off. he is wounded in the arm the ball passing through the elbow joint. David Space of Co D 3rd Regt NJ Vols was wounded severely in the arm and shoulder. he is quite low today and seems discouraged. There was one young man from the third regiment Co H that attracted a good deal of attention he is about twenty one or two years of age strong and robust in appearance. he was wounded badly in the back of the head and is now perfectly crazy[?]. he will not allow anything put up his head. he was very restless and kept talking all the while. His Sister has been with him four or five days but he did not recognize her. And
