and from almost every house

all the places of businesses are open

The 7th N.Y. S.N.G. are doing

duty around the city. In the after-
noon the teams moved about

fifty yards to get into a woods

they had just taken the harness

off when they was order ed to

proceed to the foot of the mountain

passed through the city entering

on Market Street and going out

to the federick and hagerstown

turnpike by west patrick street

sent about three miles

passed close by where the spy

Richardson was hanging .

he was entirely naked. he

had hung two or thee days

parked at the foot of the mountain

and fed. after feeding was ordered '!

to cross the mountain. par ked again

near Middletown 8 miles from ----
