2nd Thursday After breakfast I went out and picked about a quart of raspberries. After that parliament and I went a fishing in the mill pond. Par caught a very large eel and just as he got it!' upon the bank it broke the line and got in the pond again. About noon we got orders to go back to westmin ister again. Got there about one pm. Drew commissary stores at the depot and went out of town by the baltimore turnpike. Parked about one mile from the town and about a half a mile from the pike. There was from Eight to a thousand prisoners in town. There is a very hard battle being fought at getyysburgh the teams have been on half rations for two days but have full rations again today
