three stews for which i paid thirty cents each. I thought that it was a pretty big [illegible], Bought my ticket at the depot for eight dollars and a quarter. Got on the car and started at half past six. The car was crowded. While going across the river at Havre de grace went in the refreshment car and got some fried oyster and coffee for thirty five cents arrived at Philadelphia one hour behind time. Took the horse cars and rode about four miles in them. got on the cars again and came right through to Newark got there at about half past six.
