9th Saturday
Very warm and clear today was busy in the morning cleaning out the barn for a sales room. Issued 3 day rations for the regiments. Got orders to start the bakery again. The Yeast maker commenced to make yeast this afternoon. There was some of the bakers wounded in the late battle. The Supply train went to falmouth today brought hams and one days rations potatoes. We have sold six barrels of hams since about four o’clock yesterday and could sold as many more if we had them. the officers seemed to be all eat out of everything. Fresh meat was issued today
