(29th Wensday [sic] (continued))
Lieut Bradford with the headquarter clerks and the bakers stayed at the old camp; there is a days issue of fresh bread. There for the Brigade: The ovens was not torn up. twenty nine barrels of pork was loaded in three wagons. It was loaded in bulk. There has been but very little firing today
30th Thursday
It rained quite hard during the night and untill [sic] noon today when it cleared off very warm. Capt Fitts was out to the front today. he says that the brigade was just at the edge of the ravine where they was when they crossed before. twenty wagons
