Commenced raining last night and continued all day today raining very hard Issued two days rations to the Brigade. Supply train went to the landing and brought ham and hard bread. Capt Fitts and Robert McCloud returned today
16th Thursday
cloudy but no rain today Wm Miller and James McDougal returned to day. The paymaster came this afternoon and paid five companies of the second regt. Issued whiskey to the Brigade today and sold some to officers
