4th Saturday
Clear and cold today the wind blowed hard all Just at night it blew a perfect Hurricane about 8 PM it commenced to snow The supply train went to the landing today and brought two days issue of potatoes I issued to the brigade today Bradford returned today
5th Sunday
during last night it snowed very hard it blowed and drifted all over been cold and blustry [sic] untill [sic] noon when it cleared off Easter Sunday bought eggs at Corps headquarters for 5 cents a dozen.
