April 6th Monday
Clear and pleasant today His Excellency the President and lady and son are at headquarters army potomac. Today they reviewed all the cavelry [sic] [illegible] this army. The severis[?] book place near Falmouth. Drew one pair pants went to the com/[illegible] and got them
7th Tuesday
during last night it rained quite hard but it is clear and pleasent [sic] today The third fifth and exith corps was to be reviewed today by the President + lady and son But it was postponed. Part of the fifteenth went on picket today with the third NJ vols
